Module 5 – Changing Relationships
Just like life, relationships don’t stay the same. I truly believe [Mel] played a massive part in helping me have one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It was just incredible and I don’t think that would have been possible without you. Your work is amazing – THANK YOU!!
Chloe Fletcher
I cannot recommend Mel highly enough. She enabled us to have the most positive birth after having had a previously traumatic experience. Mel is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and committed.
Angela Holmes
She was fantastic. She was so kind and full of knowledge on how I could achieve the kind of labour that I wanted. It went exactly to plan and not many women can say that. I have no doubt that this was due to Mel’s techniques with me during early labour. She taught me exercises to ensure that the baby’s head was in a good position for a swift, uncomplicated labour. Mel has a very warm personality and is extremely caring.

At about 7 weeks I started to find breastfeeding really painful with sore nipples. I knew I wanted to continue but it was getting increasingly hard. I turned to Mel who immediately provided invaluable practical advice and reassurance. Mel was proactive, confident in her advice and importantly kind and supportive. With her help I got through the tough patch and continued breastfeeding for 18 months which my son and I loved. I don’t know where I would have turned to without her.
Holly Richardson
Having a prem baby and being unable to breastfeed her for 2 months was the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Having lived in the hospital for one of those months and constantly being told what to do by doctors and midwives, stripped me of my confidence as a mom and a person. We were so lucky that Melody became a part of our family’s journey just before I wanted to give up. Her knowledge is so extensive on everything “birth and beyond”, that if something wasn’t working for us, she could always offer an alternative that suited our needs and values. With Melody’s awareness of the massive emotional journey motherhood is, her support and guidance allowed me to gain my power back as an instinctive mother. It takes a special person to do what she does. If you have the option to have her be part of your new family’s story… don’t hesitate to reach out to her.
